As a principal of CLS Partners, Clint1 brings more than 15 years of leadership creating strategic and tactical employee benefits plans for public and privately-held national and international firms in a variety of industry segments.
Prior to founding CLS Partners, Clint worked for 10 years at what is now Arthur J. Gallagher (NYSE: AJG)—one of the world's largest brokerage firms. While at Arthur J. Gallagher, Clint was a Top 20 Advisor serving clients such as Golfsmith; The University of Texas Investment Management Company (UTIMCO), the first external investment corporation formed by a public university system; and WayPort, Inc., now AT&T Wi-Fi Services.
Clint sits on the boards for multiple nonprofits and business associations, including the Central Texas Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. Clint holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas.
Since 1994, Trey2 has assisted businesses with all aspects of their employee benefits programs. While at BlueCross BlueShield of Texas and Great-West Healthcare (now CIGNA) he represented companies including Levi Strauss, Fossil and Cox Communications. As director of sales for Principal Financial Group, he managed benefits for Kellogg Brown & Root, Halliburton, and American Achievement Corporation.
Previously Trey created, implemented and maintained programs for The University of Texas System, multiple Texas municipalities and the San Antonio Spurs among others. Just prior to joining CLS Partners, Trey was Senior Vice President of Employee Benefits at MHBT.
Trey currently serves on the board of governors for LifeWorks, an organization dedicated to helping at-risk youths and families. In 2009 Trey received an Austin Under 40 award for service to his industry and community.
Aaron brings a great depth of experience in the financial services industry, serving retirement plans of all sizes and in many different industry segments. Prior to helping establish CLS Partners Retirement Services, Aaron spent time at Merrill Lynch developing a knowledge base around 401(k) plans that he continues to expand to this day. While at Merrill Lynch, Aaron worked with businesses of all sizes to establish plans appropriate for them and improve existing plans to benefit the employees and the employer.
Aaron received his Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University and also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Specialist (CRPS®) and Charted Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) Designations.
